PETER!!!!

I'm having serious withdrawal symptoms, so just went on the website to check out what's happened during the 4 episodes I've missed so far. Bad idea!

It appears that at least 4 new characters have been introduced - and so far as INTEGRATED - into the plot. Claribel, who is apparently Paz's twin sister - I wonder if she'll get paid double for acting two roles...; Ignacio (cool name), who is Claribel's father, so you would assume logically also Paz's father, but I wouldn't take it as a given (oh, & who died today); Mercedes, who is apparently Paz's mother, but never noticed a second small child coming out of her womb all those years ago; and Eugenio, but I'm not really sure who he is.

Pacheco has cancer - hasn't he been through enough? - what with dying, coming back as a ghost, & then miraculously waking up when he heard Barbara say she loved him -, but the doctor has lied & told him he'll be fine; which, of course, he will, because he's the hunk of the show & it wouldn't be any good for ratings for him to lose his hair now would it?

Tatiana (box of frogs) & Fabricio were about to get married but he pulled out (thank the virgin of Guadaloupe for that!), & was consequently consoled by hot blind chick who, I assume, will soon miraculously regain her sight through the magic of being in love with Fabricio.

It also appears that Caro is pregnant, so I'll be expecting to hear about the birth in a fortnight (sorry, correct word for two weeks, as u gringos would say), but Tango & Alejandro are fighting over who's the father. At least that storyline is new & innovative!

Oh, & meatloaf body-guard woke up in the house of that crazy blonde doctor who was claiming that Barbara was her daughter lost in an earthquake 25 years ago, who, it appears, is falling in love with him. As everyone seems to do, despite his meatloaf hair & recent blindness.

And that's just in today's episode!!!

Oh, it's such a roller-coaster of emotions, & I still regret that you never got round to teaching me to type two-handed, otherwise I would update you every day.

I love the publicity photographs. They all look as if they suffer from an odd astigmatism that causes them to view the world through forward tilted heads. I guess that is supposed to be vaguely erotic. But it looks merely comical.
